After years in the fast-paced
world of Silicon Valley tech,
I stepped away to slow things down
and try something new -to be the least experienced person in the room again.
That’s where I found clay.

Working with it felt immediate and grounding. There’s something about shaping a material that has
existed, unchanged, for centuries that connects you to something quieter, more essential.

I’ve always been drawn to handmade objects and spaces with a warm, curated feel - earthy tones, natural textures, imperfect details, and pieces that feel calm rather than overly polished. What started as making objects for my own home slowly became something more, as the people around me began to connect with them in the same way.

ÈRAS grew naturally from that place.

From a desire to stay connected to what feels raw and quietly beautiful in a world that moves fast.
